PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN THE FIELD OF DISASTER MANAGEMENT, SECURITY, MEDIATION & RECONCILIATION, PLANNING & MANAGEMENT

The Centre for Social Development (CES) based in Garowe, Somalia that focuses on promoting poverty reduction, social and economic development through research capacity-building and implementations. One of CES’s key initiatives is to provide training to staff of local organizations, humanitarian and development agencies, as well as government institutions, in various areas such as disaster management, security, mediation, reconciliation, and professional program planning and management.

CES has established partnerships with several reputable institutions, including the Social Innovation Africa (SIA) In Uganda and IPPIA of the United States International University – Africa (USIU) in Kenya, to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of individuals and organizations working in the Horn of Africa. These partnerships provide CES with access to a wealth of expertise and resources, allowing them to develop high-quality training programs that are tailored to the specific needs of their clients.
Overall training programs aim to enhance the capacity of individuals and organizations working in the horn of Africa to effectively respond to the complex challenges facing the countries and to contribute to its social and economic development.
